As those are probably not customizable by node, according to https://darkmx.app/search  the following well known file types are missing:

Audio: m4a, 3gp, amr, wav
Image: gif, svg
Text: md, fb2

all of those file types would be picked up with the 'other' option

I'll explain. Keeping the status quo is counterproductive. AFAIK the entire idea of splitting files into different type of media groups was to have the group Others hidden from sharing. Those mentioned clearly do belong to media files. Maybe a node preferences already have the editable list of file extensions?
