I'm offering to create and moderate a IRC DarkMX chat room on the popular Libera.chat IRC global network. I already own and moderate several on that series of servers as well as in OFTC and others. It would be a positive influence to advertise and encourage other like minded individuals to join and support DarkMX and Fopnu as well.

If I used IRC I'd be there in a second, but I don't. Making that channel is a really good idea though. More people on Fopnu and DarkMX would be great.

Many IRC users greatly miss file sharing which nearly all IRC servers block or ban leaving a sizeable audience with a need for applications like DarkMX and Fopnu. I advertise for DarkMX and Fopnu on my existing IRC channels now and then. However I would want explicit approval from the staff of DarkMX and Fopnu before I approach the IRC server owners with a plan to create and run a DarkMX and Fopnu IRC channel. Yes it would undoubtedly provide more new users and popularity for both DarkMX and Fopnu. I have been operating and owning IRC channels for over a decade.

The Dev Team thanks you ASmith for the generous offer to set up and moderate IRC channels for Fopnu and DarkMX and gives you full permission. This would be a great resource for the two programs.
